Now really, I don't make anything. I can cook, yes, and I did make these (with some help..)
But when the woman told me she made them I fretted: I don't make things. I wish I could, I just can't. I know this because I have a sister who can whip out some egg cartons and a hot glue gun and make you a replica of the Vatican City even if it's dinner time and your project is due the next morning OR ELSE. People like her have it in them. Whatever she got was all used up by the time I came along.
There were "authorized" Yo Gabba Gabba tees for sale in the lobby of the theater that were going for upwards of twenty dollars a pop. That just wasn't an option. So when I pondered maybe attempting this project, dollar signs flashed before my eyes all psychedelic Yo Gabba Gabba style and red smiley faces rained down from the ceiling as I pictured how awesome (or, lame, depending on your outlook) it would be to have a Yo Gabba tee for every family member in their Easter basket. Turns out those smiley faces were just the balloons from the show, but I continued to think about it and thought what the hell? If they suck we'll use them for pajamas.
