Sometime I forget about this blog.
After the baby, I thought. I'll have more time.
After I go back to work, things will settle into more of a routine.
Comments dropping off into space? I'd better start reciprocating a little more. I'll try later this week.

I wanted to post at least three times this week.
I think it will be awhile before I have time to write in the way that makes me feel like I'm not just documenting details, but sometimes there can be a lot in the details and maybe just committing to bloggong and not rock star, awesome, soul-wrenching, intellectual blogging will be enough to get my blog on.
Like how I'm typing this and trying to juggle my laptop with a sleeping baby in my lap. One who I think may just cut a tooth tomorow and needs to be held all the time. By me. How that's not a bad thing, How he is more than the length of this chair, just shy of six months old. How his socks never match because I don't have time to fold laundry.
Look at that, I just posted again.

Blog this weekend about how you are going to get organized and you could win.
If I win it will give me something else to blog about (besides the fact that while I type this one handed the baby is now crying and his brother is having some kind of a night terror and it's 11pm. Gah.
Matchy socks = overrated! Hope you got some sleep after you hit "publish."

More than the length of this chair...that is a great description for the baby of a writer.
I'm glad you posted again. When you don't, however, I feel a kind of sporadic-posting kinship :) You're still here and I'm still here and even if we're not the most regular posters in the blogosphere, we're raising babies and collecting the memories and sometimes finding the time to jot them down. It's a full life and I'm you're sharing it with me.
