crap. crap crap crap. did you decide?

Amanda

Uhg!

But the baby is big! And healthy! Sorry, just trying to spin it for the good.

Oh crap. You'd have thought she could have told you that a month ago...

And sideways baby? Wow, twice. My fingers are crossed for an outcome that leads to healthy and happy mom and baby.

Oy. That's a tough one. With a sideways baby (and by that, I assume you mean he is not head down, right?), would she (or the new doc) even attempt a VBAC? Keep in mind that second babies often come early, but unfortunately you have no way of knowing. If he dropped already, maybe, just maybe you go into labor before she leaves. I will keep my fingers crossed.

Binky

Do you know about the site spinningbabies.com? It's a great resource about positioning, with suggestions on how to get babies to turn/rotate prior to or during labor. Just throwing that out there!

Candy

All the sooner to hold the bundle of joy? Yeah that sounded lame, even to me. Sometimes, fate takes these decisions right out of our hands no matter how we kick and scream, and it's always a bitch. Good luck.

catnip

Yikes. That's a rough decision to have make quickly. Whatever you decide, you know it's the best thing for you and the baby.

Kimberly

Well, crap. What are you leaning towards? There is still a chance you'll go into labor early. Maybe your DOC is off a bit and you really ARE 36 wks vs. 35? And maybe since the baby is dropping . . . ? Here's to hoping, right?

But whatever you do, it will be fine. Really. Good luck deciding.

Lady M

Ooof. Of all plans to have to change . . .

Wishing you and the baby well!
